Ravenna, Land of history, of legends and dreams. Sweet Dreams.

From the ancient mists of history and tales, Mariola's legend resurfaces and with her our story begins and our journey begins.

A story that smells of pine forests, fruit and good things. A history rich in gastronomic culture, good food and confectionery tradition.

Ravenna with its unmistakable landscapes, its noble origins and peasant traditions, provides the pastry chefs of Il Nazionale with the necessary ingredients to create a "whole Ravenna cake" with inspiration, in preparation and ingredients.

Starting with the illustration of the package that contains it, created for the occasion, which is inspired in the lines and colors by Pascucci's rust prints, using themes dear to Guaccimanni, wise engraver from Ravenna and profound connoisseur of its beauties.

The ingredients that characterize this dessert are proudly the fruit of our lands, starting from the pine nuts of the surrounding pine forests, even mentioned by Dante, with strictly IGP butter, with stone-ground wholemeal flour and "al mugnèghe" the sweet apricots of our countryside.

Elements that wisely combined and mixed give life to this cake dedicated to the sweet and ineffable Mariola.

Now and finally, it will no longer be so difficult to look for Mariola for Ravenna, to find it, just follow the aroma that will take you to the Pasticceria Il Nazionale to taste this cake.

They will attend the event in Wednesday 30 October at 11 at Il Nazionale in Piazza del Popolo, representing the institutions, the Deputy Mayor Eugenio Fusignani, General Manager of La Cassa Nicola Sbrizzi, the Ravenna history expert Marcello Landi, Franco Gàbici author of the book "Zarché Mariola par Ravèna", Professor Elena Pagani, the pastry chef Franco Scarfati, the illustrator Fabio Tramonti and Gianluca Ferrini curator of the graphic project.
